WWE is giving their NXT brand a lot more of a focus, and it paid off with a huge new CW television deal. Now, this week’s episode is set for even more star power.
In recent months, the presence of main roster talent on NXT has become quite common, with the likes of Becky Lynch, Judgment Day, and others making appearances on WWE’s developmental brand for brief stints.
On the upcoming NXT episode, Otis and Chad Gable from Alpha Academy are set to appear, offering support to Akira Tozawa, who is scheduled to face Noam Dar in a bout for the NXT Heritage Cup.
Their role won’t be limited to moral support, as one of the two men will also compete in a match tonight. This should be quite a show for fans, and we will have complete coverage here at Ringside News.
Bodyslam.net reports that Otis will be in action on the show, following a segment involving Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne, Drew Gulak, and Damon Kemp. We were informed that Otis’s opponent will be one of these four.

In the following week’s RAW episode, Otis is also slated to compete as he goes up against Shinsuke Nakamura in a singles match. Otis is getting a lot of opportunities as the former Heavy Machinery member carried on long past his former partner, Tucker’s, release.
