Ricochet Botched Match Finish On 11/6 WWE RAW After Suffering Possible Concussion

You never know what can happen on WWE RAW, and this week’s episode included a big fatal four-way match for a shot at GUNTHER’s Intercontinental Title. That being said, things didn’t turn out the way they planned.

Ringside News provided comprehensive coverage of WWE RAW, and everything else going on in the pro wrestling world tonight. That being said, fans are in for a packed three-hour show.

Ricochet suffered quite a bump during WWE RAW this week, but the fatal four-way match continued. Ricochet finished the match, however, it appeared that things might not have gone too well when it came to following the plans.

The match ended with a double pinfall situation, where The Miz pinned Bronson Reed while Ivar pinned Ricochet. In the end, Ricochet kicked out, but Bronson Reed didn’t so The Miz was the only winner of the match. It was confusing, and apparent that things didn’t turn out the way they were supposed to.

Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Ricochet messed up that finish on RAW this week because he wasn’t all there after taking that blow previously in the match. He heavily hinted that Ricochet may have suffered a concussion during that match as well.

If you watch the match, this was not the planned finish. Like, everyone in the ring is confused, they’re all looking around like, ‘what the hell is going on here?’ The referee is trying to stop The Miz from celebrating and trying to stop the ring announcer for announcing The Miz as the winner.

So, I am 99% positive that Ricochet was supposed to be pinned, but he kicked out, because he was messed up. Everyone is confused, and the referee makes a deal and it ends up with Ivar laying out The Miz afterward and destroying him with a giant moonsault and leaving him for dead. The crowd chants ‘You suck’ … Ricochet was led off, and he is in the concussion protocol.”

Michael Cole called the spot as a double pin, so that certainly looked like the plan. Ricochet kicked out, and they couldn’t ignore that. Now, we have The Miz vs Ivar set for RAW next week, and it’s anyone’s guess what GUNTHER’s match will be at Survivor Series at this point.

We will have to see what happens in the future. You never know what can happen on live television, and this week’s episode of WWE RAW certainly did not disappoint.
