WWE has plenty of former Superstars out there, and they may want a couple of them back. After Kairi Sane’s return at WWE Crown Jewel, there was a report that Sarray may be next. Now, that is not going to happen.
It was previously reported that WWE had their eye on Sarray’s return to the company. She is returning to the United States, but now we have even more information about that situation, and WWE isn’t a part of it at all.
PW Insider reports that Sarray has inked a deal with Sukeban, and this is a multi-year contract. This will see her return to the United States, but it won’t allow her to make a WWE comeback.
PWInsider.com can confirm that former WWE NXT star Sarray (aka Sareee in Japan) has signed what has been described as a multi-year deal with Sukeban to return to the United States.
This would bring Saree, who chose to exit WWE at the conclusion of her contract and had been greatly underutilized during her title there, back to the States regularly. She will debut as part of the promotion’s second event next month in Miami, Florida.
An announcement is expected to drop later today. This is a bit of a surprise, because it was previously reported that WWE was interested in bringing her back. Now, it appears that is not happening.
Sarray has gone on record by saying that her NXT run was not a failure. That could open the door for another spin around WWE, and she might do a lot next time around.
We will have to see if Sarray ever makes a return to WWE. If anything, she will have to wait a bit longer before that is a possibility at this point.
