AEW remains one of the most desirable places for a pro wrestler to work in, even if the company is no longer the hot commodity it once was. The company never fails to sign young talent from the independent circuit and it appears the company signed a top female indie talent months ago, but has not used her much.
According to Sean Ross Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, AEW secured the services of 25-year-old Megan Bayne, an emerging talent renowned for her skills in the independent wrestling circuit. In fact, she has been signed with the company for months now.
However, she has not been seen on television for a long time. Bayne would frequently wrestle on the YouTube shows Dark and Dark: Elevation. AEW has taken a strategic approach to Bayne’s development, as she was dispatched to Tokyo Joshi-Pro several months ago to hone her craft.
AEW has no plans in place for Bayne for her return, but they are closely monitoring her progress so that they can use her once the company is happy with her in-ring improvement.
In addition to her time in AEW, Megan Bayne used to compete in TNA as well. Regardless, only time will tell when she will make her return to the company and compete regularly.
