Adam Copeland made his debut at AEW WrestleDream and he instantly became a massive deal in the company. It has been a few weeks since then and fans have gotten used to his star power in AEW. That said, Copeland has been warned to not compete in ladder matches in AEW.

The Rated R Superstar has been engaged in a feud with his best friend/enemy Christian Cage ever since he arrived on AEW television. Despite being almost 50, Adam Copeland doesn’t shy away from competing inside the squared circle.

While speaking to the Gabby AF podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair talked about Adam Copeland making his way to AEW. Flair noted that he told Adam Copeland to not compete in ladder matches in AEW backstage during the October 25th episode of AEW Dynamite.

‘I looked at him when I walked outta Gorilla, I told him[Adam Copeland], ‘No ladder matches.’ And I kept walking. Who has a ladder match at 57? Me.”
