WWE made a few cuts in September, and those NXT Superstars who met their end with the company are now free to do as they please with no non-compete clause. Although those main roster talent have some time let, Yulisa Leon was able to move on, and now she’s a champion.

Yulisa Leon, now using the name Julissa, was among the individuals released by WWE on September 21st. It had been previously revealed that she had personally sought her release. Following her departure from WWE, she managed to secure the CRASH Lucha Libre’s Femenil Championship.

In a new interview with TJ Sports, Yulisa Leon also confirmed that she is with KAOZ Lucha Libre, a promotion that is closely associated with CRASH. She used the words “belong to” when describing her new setup with KOAZ, but she didn’t confirm an exclusive contract has been signed.

“I belong to KAOZ and we will surprise a lot of people. We have a lot of plans & surprises set and we will go forward from there.”
