TNA World Champion Alex Shelly has been on the run of a lifetime after winning the title earlier this year, as fans felt he deserved it. That said, he suffered an injury last month and has been out of action since then. Now Shelly has finally reacted to his injury, stating that he will be okay.

Alex Shelley has not wrestled since the TNA UK Invasion show on October 26. He was scheduled to wrestle at the Turning Point event on October 27. Shelley missed the event due to an “extremely pulled muscle in his calf.” He would end up missing out on the remainder of the tour as well.

The TNA World Champion took to Twitter and commented on his injury. He apologized to GCW and Wrestling REVOLVER for being forced to cancel his scheduled dates before stating that he would be okay.

It’s not much – I let @IMPACTWRESTLING handle big things. I just wanted to apologize to @GCWrestling_ and @PWRevolver fans for being advertised and having to cancel. I love both companies dearly and their fan bases, and if I could wrestle, I would.

Train what you can train, fix what you can fix. Acute phase healing is painful, tissue remodeling takes time. I’m fortunate to be able to train (haven’t missed a workout yet) and I’ll be okay. Now I’ve more time for my coaching business! Alexshelleycoaching@gmail.com, cheap plug.

We will have to wait and see when the TNA World Champion will be able ot make his triumphant return to the ring, as fans certainly miss seeing him compete and show off his skills.
