AEW has made a few interesting decisions when it comes to their creative over the past few months. Now we have another instance where changes were made, but this time those changes were switched back to the way they were before.
Ringside News provided comprehensive coverage for AEW Dynamite this week. We also brought you full spoilers for AEW Rampage, which taped after the show in Louisville. It was quite a show, and there was also some action online to cause a headline.
Just a few days after a name change, a veteran AEW star has experienced yet another alteration to their name. It’s unclear why those changes were made, but it seems that “Lutha” is no more.
The AEW roster page was recently updated to reflect ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm’s new gimmick. This update included a new black and white profile picture for Storm and her new butler, Luther.
As we previously reported, Luther’s image was updated, and his name was changed from Luther to Lutha. That alteration did not last long.
However, there has been another adjustment. Luther’s name has been reverted to Luther. This doesn’t appear to be a mistake, as his new profile picture and nickname, ‘The Butler,’ remain. We will continue to monitor the situation, but for now, his name is back to Luther.
We will have to see if AEW switches Luther’s name again. At this point, it appears that he is keeping that original spelling while still portraying Toni Storm’s butler. Keep checking back with us here at Ringside News for more.
