Eric Bischoff Puts His Hair On The Line That CM Punk Won’t Make WWE Return

The former Executive Director of SmackDown went on to up the stakes a bit with his co-host, Conrad Thompson. He’s had his head shaved for a pro wrestling storyline before, but he offered a real-life wager to put his hair on the line that Punk won’t make his return to WWE.

Co-host Conrad Thompson asked Eric Bischoff if he would put his hair on the line that CM Punk doesn’t make a return in the next year, that encompasses all time until late October 2024, when the podcast was recorded. Bischoff was game to take that bet with Conrad.

“F*ck it, let’s do it.“

Eric Bischoff then made it clear that, “I’m only taking this bet if you can make it clear that you do not have any inside information.” Conrad confirmed that he did not have any information, and Bischoff said, “clearly I don’t either.” So, the bet is on, and one of them will have a shaved head by Halloween 2024.

CM Punk’s exit from AEW fueled a slew of rumors and speculations regarding his future in wrestling.
