WWE has a few interesting gimmick matches in the company, and NXT is preparing to bring back an innovative concept that NXT broke out last year. Now, the Iron Survivor Challenge is coming back.

Ringside News has comprehensive coverage of WWE Halloween Havoc Night 2. It was quite a night, and it opened up with a banger of a tag team tables, ladders and scares match. After The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile got their big NXT send-off, due to their main roster call-up, Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre made their mark.

This was quite an exciting show, as Wes Lee returned to target Dominik Mysterio. Also, Von Wagner ended his hiatus as he went after Bron Breakker.

NXT Deadline will take place on December 9th at Bridgeport, Connecticut’s Total Mortgage Arena, and they announced during NXT Halloween Havoc that the Iron Survivor Challenge is coming back. It was later revealed that WWE Hall of Famers will announce the competitors via social media over the next few weeks.

In the Iron Survivor Challenge, five superstars compete in a 25-minute match, vying for the highest number of falls when the time expires. It begins with two participants, and every five minutes, a new superstar enters the fray until all five are in the ring. Falls can be achieved through pinfall, submission, or disqualification, and for each fall, a superstar earns a point. If a superstar loses a fall, they are sent to a penalty box for 90 seconds before rejoining the match. The superstar with the most falls when the clock reaches 25 minutes becomes the Iron Survivor and secures a No. 1 Contender opportunity for the NXT Championship or NXT Women’s Championship.

We will have to see how this pans out, because anything can happen in this match. Keep checking back with Ringside News for more updates.
