Shocking Revelation On Candice LeRae’s Injury During WWE RAW

WWE Superstars give their all in the ring, but sometimes things don’t go according to plan and injuries are often a part of the situation. It seems that they are still working angles around injuries in 2023, because Candice LeRae’s concerning segment on RAW was all a part of the show.

Ringside News provided complete play-by-play coverage this week. It was quite a show, even thought they were forced to book a special episode due to so many members of the roster being out of the country, or otherwise busy, due to their Saudi Arabia trip. During the show, Candice LeRae and Xia Li’s match did not end the way anyone thought it would.

Xia Li nailed a kick to the face during that match, and it sent Candice LeRae to the canvas. It didn’t take very long at all for the referee to call for the bell. Many fans were concerned that Candice LeRae was injured, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Candice LeRae’s injury spot was just an angle during the match. It was noted that they pulled a KO finish, but it didn’t turn out the way that they would have liked it.

“I thought Candice did a great job, but the referee was … yeah, I think that they wanted it to look like she didn’t know what was going on, and it was awkward, yeah, I think it was like they all did what they were supposed to do. They wanted it to make it look awkward, but by doing so, it just felt like the referee was completely incompetent.”

WWE showed Candice LeRae in the trainer’s room later on in the show. She was getting some ice on her head, and they were looking at her. That being said, if she was really injured, it’s doubtful that they would have put a camera on her backstage during that segment.

We’ll have to see if Candice LeRae gets any revenge on Xia Li in the weeks to come. It’s always possible that this is how they are building Xia Li now, after so long backstage with nothing for her to do. Keep checking back with us here at Ringside News for more.
