WWE isn’t the right fit for everyone, but there are a lot of opportunities elsewhere in the pro wrestling world. Now, one former WWE Superstar, who went back to Japan, is possibly coming back to America.

A former WWE NXT star is reportedly in discussions to return to the United States soon. Sarray left WWE when her contract expired in March 2023, citing issues with her NXT creative among the reasons for her departure. Now as Sareee once again, she has since returned to Japan, competing for numerous Japanese promotions, including a self-titled return show earlier this year.

PW Insider reports that Sareee is currently in negotiations to return to the United States to perform, a source in Japan has claimed. That could see her making a trip back to the USA for some in-ring action.

We are told that Saree, who chose to exit WWE at the conclusion of her contract and had been greatly underutilized during her title there, is “deep” in contract negotiations.

It was also noted in the report that, “The discussions are not believed to be with WWE.” Only time will tell if she ever makes her way to WWE.

Sarray had a little run in NXT, and she did get some extra production value, as she would morph into her in-ring character backstage before her matches. Still, it wasn’t meant to last, as she disappeared when NXT dropped the 2.0 branding. Then she eventually departed.

We will have to see what happens with Saree next. She may make her way back to the United States, but odds are she won’t be going back to WWE. Keep checking back with us here at Ringside News for more.
