There is no doubt that Bryan Danielson is one of the most established names in the world of professional wrestling right now. He has been a part of quite a few major storylines in AEW and has gotten injured as well. Many have accused Orange Cassidy of injuring Danielson on Dynamite this week, but now footage proves that wasn’t the case.

During AEW Collision this week, it was revealed that Bryan Danielson broke his orbital bone during the 10/25 episode of AEW Dynamite. As previously reported, this injury is not part of a storyline and is very real.

As revealed by footage shared by a fan, the video shows Orange Cassidy’s ‘Orange Punch’ not hitting Danielson’s face. Kazuchika Okada’s Rainmaker afterwards also didn’t hit Danielson in the face, but rather the chest.

It was then pointed out that Danielson was actually injured during his match with Andrade El Idolo, where the latter hit Danielson with a rolling elbow. The effects of the blow were clearly felt afterwards.

Bryan Danielson might end up missing Wrestle Kingdom next year due to his injury as well. Only time will tell when Danielson will be able to make his return to the squared circle, but it won’t be as soon as fans would like.
