AEW President Tony Khan has a lot of passion for the world of professional wrestling, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t done a lot of questionable things over the years. Reports have noted that there have been more last-minute decisions in AEW and now an AEW coach has defended this decision.

Tony Khan still books AEW in his own vision, despite the fact that he still gets advice and help from those close to him in the company. Reports have suggested that AEW talent are increasingly in the dark when it comes to their creative direction due to Khan making last-minute decisions.

AEW coach Jerry Lynn, who has been with the company for the past couple of years, took to Twitter and commented on a tweet regarding such reports. Lynn claimed that Tony Khan makes last-minute decisions to keep things confidential and prevent leaks as much as possible.

Because wrestlers and God knows who else have and continue to leak info to the sheets, podcasts, etc. So Tony tries to keep things confidential. You wouldn’t want to know everything before you see a movie. Anyone who leaks info is doing damage to the product and the industry.”

Communication is key in professional wrestling, but the advent of leakers has made it more difficult for companies to keep things secret. Regardless, many fans will likely agree with what Jerry Lynn had to say and that’s not changing anytime soon.
