Shotzi had a memorable time in NXT, and she managed to become a fan-favorite there. She is part of Friday Night Smackdown now and has been sported a shaved look for the past few months. That said, Shotzi personally asked Triple H to make a storyline centered around her head shaving.
Shotzi shocked fans during SmackDown back in July as she shaved her head. This came as a surprise for fans for many reasons. Blackheart then revealed that she did it to pay tribute to her sister, who is battling cancer.
Shotzi changed up her look again and has since been showing off various styles for fans. While speaking with Ten Count, Shotzi talked about how she got approval from WWE to incorporate her head shaving into a legitimate storyline. It ultimately came down to her asking Triple H for the same, which was granted.
“I went to [Triple H] and I was like, ‘Hey, my sister is going through chemo and I want to support her. I want to be there for her. I want to shave my head off, too. Can we please make it a part of a storyline, so I don’t just show up one day with no hair?‘
To share a meaningful moment with her was really awesome. That really resonated with my sister. She got a lot of support from my fans, which I really love and appreciate, too.”
Shotzi is likely to align herself with Charlotte Flair on Friday Night Smackdown, which fans feel could benefit her in the long run. We’ll have to see how she will be booked in the coming weeks.
