Mercedes Mone Not Expected For WWE Return To Revive Sasha Banks Character

Sasha Banks walked out of WWE along with Naomi. Then they re-appeared elsewhere as Mercedes Mone and Trinity Fatu, but the two haven’t teamed together in the ring since then. There are a lot of things on the table, but a WWE return may not be possible.

During a recent Q&A on PW Insider, Mike Johnson was asked, “Are You expecting Mercedes Mone to return the Wrestling, And if so will it be with NJPW or AEW?”

The answer this fan received may not be one that they wanted to hear, especially if they want to see Sasha Banks wrestle in WWE again. The chances of Mercedes Mone wrestling in AEW or NJPW are far more likely.

“I would expect it would be with New Japan or AEW, not WWE.“

We will have to see when Mercedes Mone wrestles again. She may be taking her time, as her ankle injury heals up. The last we saw her, she is no longer wearing a walking boot, but it’s unclear whether doctors have given her the green light to get back in the ring just yet.
