WWE is gearing up for another big week, because next Saturday the company will present another premium live event from Saudi Arabia. John Cena was on hand for SmackDown this week, and he will battle Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel. During the television tapings for the November 3rd episode, Cena had a lot to say.
Ringside News provided in-depth and comprehensive coverage. It was quite a show, and they also announced some big matches for RAW during the commercial break. We already covered plenty of spoilers for WWE’s plan for SmackDown on November 3rd.
John Cena came out during the SmackDown taping this week, and he cut quite a promo on Solo Sikoa. In the process, he name-dropped a former WWE name who is now with AEW. Cena did so to take a major shot at Solo.
“We all know the only reason you got a job here is because of your cousin. We all see you walking around thinking you’re some big badass enforcer, but you’re nothing but a bargain basement Taz rip-off.”
John Cena has made a very big deal about this match. He said on SmackDown this week that he fears he will lose the WWE Universe’s respect if he can’t pull down a singles win. After all, it’s been a long time since he had his hand raised at the end of a singles match in WWE.
The lineup for next week’s SmackDown was already leaked. You can check out those plans below. The episode tapes after this week’s episode of the blue brand.
We will have to see how John Cena vs Solo Sikoa turns out at Crown Jewel. The company has quite a show stacked, but they will have a very quick turnaround for Survivor Series only 21 days later.
