Impact Wrestling put on quite a show at Bound For Glory, and the company made a big announcement about their return to TNA Wrestling. As TNA Wrestling prepares for a new chapter, there is a lot of excitement backstage.

CM Punk was backstage at Impact Wrestling’s television tapings. He wasn’t the only notable person who was at the tapings, either.

PW Insider reports that, “Ace Steel got high marks for his work as a Producer over the weekend.” He may just have a new spot in Impact Wrestling if things go well from this point on.

The report also noted that there was a good crowd for the television tapings, as it was “close to sold out.” They also “filmed lots of Digital content for the future, including the return of the old Turkey Suit Match.

The report also noted that it meant a lot to have Mike Tenay at the pay-per-view. He was present for some historic moments in TNA History, and several members of the locker room asked Tenay to come out of retirement as well.

“It meant a lot to the company to have Tenay at the PPV, with one source stating that the company had been making overtures as far back as five years ago, possibly longer.  There were some in the company hoping Tenay would call a match, and we are told some talents even directly come to Tenay and asked him to come out of retirement while they were with him in Chicago.  The stories we have heard relayed is that Tenay told everyone they were in good hands with Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt, which he was 100% correct about.

Impact Wrestling is looking toward the future, and that includes a name change to TNA Wrestling. Only time will tell what is in their future, but they certainly seem to be going with some fresh momentum at this point.

We will keep an eye on this story, and so many more, right here at Ringside News.
