Mandy Rose’s journey through the world of premium content and her WWE departure has been nothing short of eventful. Despite her release from the company due to content posted behind a premium paywall, Rose has managed to elevate her brand’s value significantly. She has now come forward, accusing WWE of terminating her contract because they couldn’t monetize her premium content.
Mandy Rose found herself released from her WWE contract due to the content she shared behind her premium content paywall. What’s even more surprising is that she reportedly wasn’t given an opportunity to remove the content before her departure from the company.
Speaking on the Power Alphas Podcast, Lacey Evans shared insights into her time in WWE. Evans revealed her initial reluctance to post revealing bikini photos on Instagram but acknowledged the reality that ‘sex sells.’ She also emphasized that she and Mandy Rose can now share such content on protected premium sites, eliminating the need for Instagram posts.
”I seen ya’ll face down, ass up, I’m like hey if that’s what we’re doing, cause that’s what they’re doing, then I’m gonna learn how to do it. To be honest, I don’t like that I had to post sexy photos of thong bikinis on Instagram, I hated it. But you know sex sells, beautiful women sell in WWE and outside of WWE, at car shows, whatever the case may be.”
“But at least now, and Mandy you and I are a lot alike in many ways, at least it’s now on a protected site, where you have to be an adult, so I don’t have to flush my sexy content now on Instagram. Since it’s a protected site, I don’t have to worry about babies whose parents aren’t doing what they need to do, they’re running wild on Instagram.”
Mandy Rose echoed Evans’ sentiments and went on to accuse WWE of terminating her contract due to her inability to monetize her premium content.
”What you said earlier, to piggyback a little bit, my character, I was the sex symbol. I was a homewrecker, I’d come out in a towel, stealing your husband. Like you [ Lacey Evans] said before, your ass was out and it went viral, all of those things, because you know when they couldn’t monetize off of my ”sex selling” whatever you want to call it, see you later. Strip the title, future endeavors, have a great time.”
WWE has also faced criticism for encouraging Mandy Rose to wrestle shortly after her brother’s tragic passing. As for her return, it appears unlikely in the immediate future. Nonetheless, only time will unveil the next chapter in Mandy Rose’s journey, as she continues to explore new opportunities.
