Drew McIntyre is one of the most established WWE Superstars of the past decade, as he won the WWE Championship twice. He is back on WWE television as a regular and has been focused on a singles run for a long time now. That said, McIntyre is also eyeing opportunities in Hollywood and he even has a role in an upcoming film starring Batista.
The Scottish Warrior is a physically imposing man and his charisma speaks for itself. Drew McIntyre also missed out on an episode of RAW due to a filming commitment.
While speaking on Crash & AJ, Drew McIntyre confirmed that he has a role in “The Killer’s Game,” which also stars former WWE Superstar Batista. McIntyre also noted that he keeps on getting opportunities from Hollywood, which is a good thing.
”Maybe. I’ve never wanted to do anything but WWE and wrestle. I don’t know if I so much have my eye on it or if it has its eye on me. Opportunities keep coming my way, which is cool. I love stepping outside my comfort zone and growing my brand, which in turn draws more eyes to WWE. Recently, I was in a few projects going on. I had a chance to be in…Dave Bautista has a movie coming out, I don’t know, sometime next year, I’ll be featured in that as well in a more prominent role. That was fun to do. The opportunities seem to be finding me rather than me finding them. We’ll see what the future holds.”
Drew McIntyre is set to challenge Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Crown Jewel next month. Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see whether McIntyre will end up getting more movie roles in the future.
