Nick Aldis is now the General Manager of SmackDown, and he’s taking that position seriously. That also comes with a few tough decisions, and he’s not being shy about calling those shots.
Ringside News provided comprehensive coverage of the October 20th episode of WWE SmackDown. The show kicked off with LA Knight, and they brought a lot of attention toward their November 4th Crown Jewel event.
Jey Uso invaded SmackDown this week, and he soon paid for it. Nick Aldis made it clear that he is responsible for what happens on SmackDown, and that stunt from Uce earned him a $10,000 fine. Adam Pearce was there as well, and he tried to advocate for Jey.
Adam Pearce suggested that Jimmy Uso catch a fine as well, but Nick Aldis had a different idea. Instead, Nick Aldis kicked both Jey Uso and Adam Pearce from the building.
Before Adam Pearce left, he said, “let the games begin,” an obvious reference to WarGames. With Survivor Series coming up very soon, it appears that we could have a brand vs brand war on our hands.
We will keep a close eye on this situation, because you never know what can happen next. After all, things are heating up all over the place in WWE.
