Elias was The Drifter in WWE for a while, but that changed once he was called up to the main roster. He lost the Drifter nickname, but Vince McMahon still used Elias in many interesting angles, and he even leaned heavily on his musical abilities. Sadly, nothing can last forever.

WWE released Elias from his contract as part of the company’s last round of releases. He hadn’t appeared on television for a very long time after that, as his Ezekiel brother storyline complicated things beyond repair.

Ringside News exclusively reported in August that Elias’s name “is never mentioned.” At this point, “no one asks,” because “that ‘brother’ angle killed his career.” Now that he is no longer a WWE Superstar, his music is officially lost media on Spotify.

Elias’ music has been taken down off Spotify. This took place since his release from the company, and it didn’t take WWE long to do it at all. This is also quite sad, because Elias had some good songs on the streaming music platform.

It appears that since Elias is no longer around, then the company won’t promote his music, even by listing it on Spotify. His songs are not gone forever, as many fans have uploaded their own tracks to YouTube and other places, but you have to wonder how long those will be around as well.

We will have to see what Elias does next in his career, but he may have to re-record some music now. Hopefully, The Drifter shows up again, because he certainly has a lot of fans who miss seeing him around.
