Tommaso Ciampa Uncertain About Team #DIY’s Reunion in WWE

WWE is running in Triple H’s creative vision at this point, and that brought a return of Team #DIY. Although Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa’s return as a team was exciting for fans, the idea that it would even happen at all was uncertain for a period of time.

We previously covered how Team #DIY saw a lot of changes over the years, and how they wanted a panda bear mascot starting out. That being said, this fresh run for the team shows them as a bit more seasoned, but they still want to have fun.

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Tommaso Ciampa admitted that he was uncertain that Team #DIY would ever reunite in WWE. After all, it took a long time waiting for the right moment to come. At this point, there is still come concern about what WWE has planned for the situation.

“There’s mileage of everything on the main roster there are other ideas too, that I could pitch them if they don’t go the DIY route, it just takes someone listening so more can jump on board.”

“I wish I knew, I’m not concerned with anyone listening to this, I really wish I knew — the amount of times it’s been a green light, red light, green light, red light … we’ve done everything you can to prepare. New gear, slogans, anything you can think of to prep, started doing some social stuff at one point, like green light, okay, and then you get roadblocks thrown in your way, I have no idea at this point. If it happens, I think it’s cool, it’s great. I’m a babyface underdog whatever, but we have such great chemistry. If it’s not going to happen, then let’s get something going here, like I turn into a bad guy, cause that’s my cup of tea, something to grab on. Something to show people, ‘this is that NXT guy who was so hyped, this is why they liked him.'”

Tommaso Ciampa actually had to miss RAW this week, because he wasn’t medically cleared. We’re hoping that he can rectify that in a hurry, because Team #DIY fans have waited long enough to see that team’s reunion.

We’ll have to see what Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano do next. They are still very popular, and Triple H is controlling the booking now, so that gives them a much better shot that they will have many more stories to tell.
