WWE released Matt Riddle after he burned all of his chances with higher-ups in the company. As Ringside News exclusively reported, Matt Riddle had over two dozen incidents that caused his release from the company.

Paperwork obtained by Ringside News from the trademark database shows that Matt Riddle has initiated a new filing. On October 18th, he submitted an application to trademark “King of Bros” for entertainment services, specifically in the context of wrestling contests. This comes after Riddle’s release from WWE on September 22nd.

Matt Riddle’s last wrestling appearance went down on the September 4th episode of WWE Raw, where he partnered with Drew McIntyre. He was actively involved in a storyline with McIntyre before his absence from television, and then he was fired.

Matt Riddle’s WWE hiatus began following an Instagram post in which Riddle accused a JFK airport officer of sexual harassment. The post was deleted on September 10th.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Port Authority officers received a call about a disorderly passenger deplaning, and they encountered Riddle in the terminal, purportedly the individual involved in the disorderly conduct. At that time, an internal investigation was initiated. Later on, actual video evidence confirmed our report.

We will have to see where Matt Riddle lands next. He could go to Impact Wrestling, because that company is seemingly interested. That being said, AEW is always an option, if he can work out a deal with Tony Khan.

Only time will tell what Matt Riddle does next, but he wants to keep his King of Bros nickname around wherever he lands.
