Wrestlenomics reports that the October 18th episode of AEW Dynamite brought in 901,000 viewers, with a .31 in the 18 to 49 demographic.
Jay White vs Penta opened up this week’s show, and they closed things off with the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale. This was quite an episode, and MJF appeared multiple times throughout the show. Adam Cole also appeared in another video vignette, which they aired during his injury hiatus.
Sting also revealed that he will retire at Revolution 2024. That was quite an announcement to drop in Texas, and it also sparked a lot of fan interest online.
The October 10th episode of AEW Dynamite drew 609,000 viewers for their Title Tuesday special. They also drew a .26 in the 18 to 49 demographic. WWE NXT drew over 900,000 viewers with their episode. Tony Khan didn’t take that loss lightly, even though the competition was huge.
Tony Khan is likely going to be vocal about this week’s numbers, as he thanks fans for their support. If anything, the company gave fans in Texas quite a show this week.
