Tyson Fury is a legendary figure in professional boxing and has a passion for professional wrestling as well. In 2019, he made his WWE debut at Crown Jewel and defeated Braun Strowman. He also appeared on WWE television last year for good measure. Now Fury believes there is still a lot of opportunity for him in WWE.
Fury’s last appearance in WWE was at Clash at The Castle the previous year, where he was involved in Drew McIntyre’s match against Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Championship.
Following his match in 2019, Tyson Fury has continued to tease matches with the likes of Drew McIntyre, Brock Lesnar and other WWE Superstars. However, nothing has come to fruition just yet.
While speaking with Sports Illustrated, Fury noted that his career in professional boxing will not last forever. That said, the legendary boxer made it clear that he believes there is still a lot of opportunity for him in WWE.
“I’ve been doing this for 15 years, which is a long time. I know it won’t last forever. And it’s true, I’ve had a few good stints in WWE. There is still a lot of opportunity there.”
Tyson Fury’s future in the company seems dubious at this moment. Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see whether he will make his WWE return somewhere down the line, as WWE will definitely have something planned for him.
