Absent AEW Star Has Been Dealing With Ongoing Injury

AEW has a few stars who are out of action with injuries. Although a star might be off television, that certainly doesn’t mean that fans have forgotten about them at all. This is certainly the case for Red Velvet.

Red Velvet has been off AEW television for quite a while. She is apparently still under a deal with the company, but she hasn’t been back for months. It appears that she is missing for a good reason.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Red Velvet is out of action with an injury. In fact, she’s been dealing with this issue for most of the year.

“We’ve had people asking where Red Velvet has been. She’s been sidelined with an injury most of this year.”

On the June 22nd edition of AEW Dynamite, the company announced that Red Velvet is currently out with an injury. The details of the injury were not revealed, but it seems that fans are still waiting for her to receive medical clearance.
