Bada Boom Battle Royal for Number One Contender Spot for NXT Tag Titles

Kemp gets eliminated by Brooks and Josh, resulting in Drew’s elimination as well. This leads to a heated argument between Drew and Damon. Tank is propelled over the top rope by Nima but inadvertently collides with the referee, managing to stay on the apron. Nima proceeds to punch Tank off the apron, causing Hank to be eliminated as well. Julius Irish whips Josh into the corner, and Josh counters with a kick to Julius. Enofe delivers an elbow and punch to Brutus. Wolfgang and Josh engage in a punch exchange, with Wolfgang being kicked over the top rope onto the apron, but he pulls Josh onto the apron as well. Price simultaneously punches Ridge and Josh, and Wolfgang’s efforts lead to Brooks going over the top rope when Wolfgang pulls down the ropes. Mark subsequently knocks Josh off the apron.

Blade and Enofe manage to evade Ridge’s attacks, countering with punches and a dropkick that sends Ridge into the ropes. Ridge then lifts Enofe and Blade, dropping them over the top rope to the floor for their eliminations. Humberto can be seen choking Duke in the corner.

Wolfgang throws punches at Ridge and follows it up with a series of chops. Julius sends Mark to the apron, and Wolfgang goes to the floor to help Mark back into the ring. However, Brutus intervenes and knocks Mark off the apron, eliminating Gallus. Ridge sends Hima to the apron and connects with a cross body, resulting in the eliminations of Nima, Price, Butch, and Ridge.

Now, it’s down to Chase U, the Creeds, Humberto, and Angel. Julius backdrops Carrillo over the top rope to the floor. While the referees are preoccupied with other matters, they notice the Creeds on the floor and declare them eliminated.

Thea Hail and Jacy Jayne make their way to the ring, and the Match Beyond begins.

Chase and Garza trade punches, and Duke tags in, delivering double sledges to Chase’s back. Duke applies a wrist lock and arm wringer before tagging in his partner. Chase executes a drop toe hold, and Duke follows up with an elbow drop. Chase nearly scores a pinfall, maintaining control with a side headlock. Carrillo tags in, and Chase executes an arm drag. Garza tags back in, and they combine for a punch to Chase’s midsection. Garza then lands a dropkick to Chase’s back and continues with forearm shots while Chase is on the turnbuckles. Chase finds himself in the tree of woe and receives a kick from Garza. Carrillo tags in and adds more kicks to Chase. Garza tags in again, and they both deliver kicks to Chase. Garza goes for a near fall, and Chase struggles, ultimately falling to the mat. Carrillo re-enters the match and targets Chase’s hamstring with kicks and an elbow drop. Carrillo applies a knee bar, but Chase manages to kick his way out of it. Chase fights back with forearms and regains control with a side headlock. Carrillo trips Chase, and Garza tags in, hitting a running knee to Chase’s head.

Garza goes for another near fall, following up with punches and choking Chase. Carrillo tags in, hitting a leapfrog-seated splash in the ropes. Garza adds a kick, and Carrillo secures another near fall. Carrillo proceeds to choke Chase in the ropes. Garza delivers a boot to Chase’s head while Carrillo converses with the referee. Carrillo pushes Chase into the corner and lands a splash. Garza tags back in, and Carrillo dropkicks Hudson off the apron. Chase manages to dodge Garza and sends him crashing into the ring post. Carrillo goes to the floor, and Garza prevents Chase from making the tag. Chase responds with punches, and Garza catches him when he attempts a tag. Chase rolls past Garza and successfully tags in Duke.

Duke strikes Carrillo with a back elbow and executes an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Duke follows up with a U-Elbow to Garza and flips Carrillo onto Garza. Duke then hits a back senton on Carrillo and nearly secures the victory, but Garza intervenes to break the pin.

Duke delivers a boot to Carrillo, and Chase tags back in, hitting a cross body for another near fall. Garza pulls Duke off the apron and shoves him into the ring steps. Garza executes a DDT on Hudson on the floor. Carrillo attempts a roll-up for a near fall, and then transitions into a sunset flip, rolling through for a powerbomb and another near fall. Garza tags in, and Brutus distracts the referee. Julius pulls Carrillo to the floor while Chase seizes the opportunity to get the three-count.

The winners are Andre Chase and Duke Hudson.

Blair Davenport confronts Gigi and informs her that if she believes she can escape their rivalry, she is mistaken. Davenport accuses an incompetent referee of handing Gigi the biggest victory of her career and states that she doesn’t want to erase that victory; she wants to end Gigi. Davenport challenges Gigi to a match at Halloween Havoc.

Carmelo Hayes is seen heading backstage as we cut to a commercial break.

As we return from the commercial break, we’re greeted with a video package featuring Lexis King. He shares his perspective on being the child of a legendary superstar, explaining that other wrestlers would tell him stories about his father’s greatness, but at four years old, he couldn’t truly know the man. His father’s constant absence due to wrestling commitments meant he couldn’t form a loving bond with him. Lexis King emphasizes that he isn’t living in his father’s shadow and that Halloween Havoc represents the start of his own career, not a continuation of someone else’s legacy. He declares his intention to make a name for himself that’s even bigger than his father’s.

Vic announces a live performance by New Year’s Day.

Carmelo Hayes makes his entrance into the ring and reflects on his incredible experiences, mentioning interactions with wrestling legends like John Cena and the Undertaker. He describes his life as feeling like a video game.

Baron Corbin interrupts and criticizes Hayes for being a fanboy, suggesting that he should focus on being a superstar rather than a fan. Corbin also mentions Hayes losing his championship.Dijak joins the conversation, stating that Hayes should concentrate on their upcoming match and warns him not to underestimate him.

Corbin mocks Dijak for wearing sunglasses indoors, and Dijak fires back, saying that Corbin’s complaints about respect won’t help him win. Hayes offers to put Dijak’s name on a jersey, showing confidence in his abilities.

Ilja Dragunov appears on the screen, announcing that tonight’s main event will be a Fatal Four-Way match to determine his next challenger at Halloween Havoc. Trick Williams then enters the scene and discusses his opportunity in the match. Dijak and Corbin both have remarks for Trick, and the tension escalates. Trick believes he has a legitimate chance to become NXT Champion, and Corbin and Dijak continue to taunt each other. Hayes assures everyone that he is focused on winning the match, no matter who his opponents are.

A backstage segment features Fallon Henley and Tiffany talking about last year’s tournament, with some tension between them. Tiffany points out that she defeated Fallon and implies that she’s a better role model for the women in the locker room. Fallon and Tiffany exchange words, with Fallon suggesting that Tiffany isn’t what the other women should aspire to be.

Tiffany leaves the scene, and we head to another commercial break.

Karmen Petrovic vs. Jaida Parker in a First Round Match in the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament

Karmen confidently asserts that she’s entering the tournament armed with her black belt and 23 years of combat experience. She acknowledges that people might not be familiar with her now, but she’s determined to make a lasting impression by winning the tournament.

Parker, on the other hand, highlights two key attributes that she believes will secure her the contract: agility and athleticism. She firmly believes that her journey to the contract begins with defeating Karmen.

The match begins with a lock-up, and Karmen demonstrates sportsmanship with a clean break. However, Parker responds with a forearm strike. Karmen manages to escape a slam attempt and applies a hammerlock. She follows up with a backbreaker and a running forearm strike. Parker blocks an Irish whip, but Karmen counters with a knee strike and a monkey flip, earning her a near fall. Parker targets Karmen’s arm by dropping it on the top rope and then pulling her into the ring to deliver a kick. Parker continues to focus on Karmen’s shoulder, using various holds and submissions. Karmen tries for a roll-up but only gets a near fall. She fights back with a crescent kick, followed by a wrist lock and an Irish whip. Parker places Karmen in the turnbuckles, landing a chop and a knee drop for another near fall. She maintains control with an armbar.

Karmen eventually breaks free with punches and a leg sweep. Karmen gains momentum with a series of running forearms, a rolling kick into the corner, and a jumping thrust kick. She seals the victory with a spinning round kick and forces Parker to tap out to a head scissors submission hold.

In a backstage segment, Tegan is seen talking to Natalya, who expresses her gratitude for Tegan’s support in dealing with Piper and Chelsea.

Tegan Nox (with Natalya) vs. Lyra Valkyria

The match begins with a lock-up, and Lyra gains the upper hand with a wrist lock. Tegan quickly reverses the hold and applies an armbar, transitioning into a hammerlock on the other arm. Lyra counters with a drop toe hold, transitioning into a front face lock. Tegan, however, maintains control with her technical wrestling skills, locking in an armbar.

Lyra manages to break free and gains a near fall with a takedown. They lock up once again, with Lyra applying a side headlock. Tegan responds with a snapmare and follows it up with a shoulder tackle. Tegan shows her agility as she avoids a spinning heel kick from Lyra and connects with a forearm strike. The match is heating up as both competitors showcase their wrestling prowess.

Tegan starts with an Irish whip, but Lyra quickly counters by floating over and nearly securing a pinfall with a sunset flip. Tegan regains control with an armbar, maintaining her focus on Lyra’s arm. Lyra answers with a side headlock takedown and attempts another roll-up for a near fall. She continues to put the pressure on Tegan, nearly securing another pinfall.

Tegan tries to gain the advantage by going up top, but Lyra stops her with a well-placed strike, causing Tegan to fall off the turnbuckles. Lyra follows up with a dropkick through the ropes, and they return to the ring.

As the action intensifies, we head into a commercial break.

As we return from the commercial break, both Lyra and Tegan simultaneously attempt cross bodies, resulting in a double collision that leaves both competitors down. Lyra delivers a forearm, and Tegan fires back, leading to an exchange of strikes. They escalate to slaps, and Lyra attempts a backslide pin for a near fall. Lyra follows up with a back heel kick and multiple forearms to the midsection. She goes for a Northern Lights suplex, but Tegan kicks out at two.

Lyra continues her offense with a kick to the midsection, and Tegan challenges her to kick her again, which Lyra obliges, earning another near fall. Lyra misses a round kick, and Tegan seizes the opportunity to catch her and execute a bridging fallaway slam for another near fall. Tegan then hits a running back senton into the corner for a near fall.

Lyra blocks a suplex attempt and counters with an Irish whip. Lyra floats over and lands an enzuigiri. She places Tegan on the turnbuckles, preparing for a superplex. However, Tegan fights back with punches. Tegan manages to execute a gourdbuster off the turnbuckles and follows up with a Molly Go Round for another near fall. Tegan kicks Lyra out of the ring and performs a cannonball off the apron.

Piper Niven and Chelsea Green make their way to the ring, causing Tegan and Natalya to approach them. Meanwhile, Tegan attempts a roll-up on Lyra for a near fall. Lyra counters with a spinning back heel kick, securing the three-count victory.

Winner: Lyra Valkyria

After the match, Tegan and Natalya go after Piper and Chelsea.

Lyra grabs the microphone and declares that no one will come between her and her title match at Halloween Havoc, not Tegan and not Indi. She talks about her journey to becoming the first Irish-born NXT Women’s Champion and how it was taken away from her. She emphasizes that when one door is closed, she’ll knock another down and be the one to take the title from the current champion.

Suddenly, Becky Lynch appears on the ShawnTron and congratulates Lyra on her win. Becky mentions that she’s been shown videos of Lyra and was told about her skills. She reveals that Lyra was the first person she wanted to face in NXT because Lyra is good, but Becky believes she’s better. She explains that she fights for her title with everything she has, as it’s the reason she leaves her house and her child. Becky challenges Lyra, saying that if she considers her a hero now, she should despise her next week.

Carmelo Hayes wants an explanation from Trick regarding what happened earlier. Hayes reminds Trick of their conversation last week, but Trick retorts that it’s what Hayes had said. Trick explains that John Cena spoke to him and advised him to seize the opportunity. He admits that he should have talked to Hayes about it but was hesitant.

Hayes acknowledges the situation and agrees that they are on their own tonight. However, Trick emphasizes that regardless of the circumstances, they are still TrickMelo, and their partnership remains intact.

After returning from the break, Gigi Dolin is asked about Blair Davenport’s challenge. Gigi expresses her excitement for Halloween Havoc and Spin the Wheel Make the Deal, one of her favorite events. She reveals the wheel for the match type and spins it, with the wheel landing on a Lights Out Match. Gigi confidently declares that next week, it’s going to be a lights out showdown.

Vic provides an update on Von Wagner, and we see him in physical therapy. Robert Stone is there to offer his moral support. Von expresses frustration, feeling like he can’t do the exercises. Stone encourages him, assuring Von that he can do it and that it will take time. Stone emphasizes the importance of Von staying focused on his recovery.

Von mentions that Stone risked his own safety during No Mercy, and Bron Breakker could have potentially harmed Stone more than Von himself.

Stone expresses his dislike for seeing Von in this condition but reassures him that once he’s 100% healthy and ready, he will finish what he started. Von insists on getting the band, determined to continue his rehabilitation and return to the ring.

Kiana James vs. Shotzi

As the action unfolds, Kiana kicks Shotzi and forces her to the mat. Kiana follows up by slamming Shotzi’s head into the mat. She adds a slap to Shotzi, who retaliates with her own slap. Shotzi fights back with a dropkick and a series of forearms. Kiana attempts to distance herself from Shotzi, but Shotzi counters with a cross body.

Shotzi continues her offense by sliding under a kick from Kiana and letting out a battle cry. She applies a rear-naked choke, but Kiana manages to escape. Shotzi transitions into a head scissors and uses the ropes to her advantage. However, Kiana fights back, sending Shotzi into the ring post and then kicking her off the apron.

The action heats up as we head into a commercial break.

As we return from the commercial break, the match between Shotzi and Kiana continues. Shotzi delivers a forearm to Kiana, but Kiana counters with a shoulder thrust in the corner. Shotzi fights back with another forearm and sends Kiana into the ropes with a victory bomb. Kiana manages to kick out at the last moment.

Kiana gains control and applies a reverse chinlock, keeping Shotzi grounded. She pulls Shotzi back to the mat and maintains the reverse chinlock. Shotzi finally escapes with an arm drag and follows up with a series of flying clotheslines. She executes a rolling elbow and a crescent kick, showing her resilience in the match.

Kiana sends Shotzi to the apron, but Shotzi fights back with a forearm and a DDT onto the apron, with Kiana’s head hitting the ropes. Shotzi then takes to the air with a suicide dive. She climbs the turnbuckles, but Kiana pushes her off, sending Shotzi crashing to the mat.

Suddenly, Roxanne Perez appears on the other side of the ring, holding a purse. Perez removes a brick from the purse, and when the referee gets into an argument with her, Shotzi takes the purse and hands it to Kiana. However, the referee confiscates the purse, and Kiana ends up missing a shoulder thrust in the corner and hitting the ring post.

Shotzi seizes the opportunity and hits a back senton off the turnbuckles to secure the three-count victory.

In a backstage interview with Oro Mensah and Lash Legend, they express their concern for Jakara, who isn’t cleared to compete. They ask Noam to pass on their love and support to Jakara. Akira Tozawa arrives and asks Noam Dar’s whereabouts, stating that he’s looking for him. Noam Dar is puzzled by Akira Tozawa’s appearance and asks Lash Legend to make sure Jakara is okay.

A backstage scene shows Trick Williams down, and officials are checking on him, as well as Carmelo Hayes. The situation is uncertain as we head into another commercial break. Kelly Kincaid is in the “Most Dangerous Parking Lot in Sports Entertainment” and announces that Trick Williams has been taken to the hospital and is out of the match.

In another segment, McKenzie is interviewing Dom Mysterio, mentioning Nathan Frazer. Dom admits he didn’t know much about Frazer until their confrontation last night. Frazer suddenly appears and attacks Dom. Their brawl spills into the hallway and eventually into the ring.

Dom manages to send Frazer into the ring, but Frazer counters with a double-leg takedown and punches. Frazer follows up with a dragon whip and a swinging neckbreaker. He climbs the turnbuckle, but Rhea Ripley pulls Dom out of the ring just as Frazer attempts a Phoenix Splash. Frazer lands on his feet.

Meanwhile, Shotzi and Roxanne Perez have a conversation backstage. Shotzi observes that Perez has changed since they last teamed up. Perez responds by saying that Kiana has been holding herself back. They arrive at the wheel, and Perez requests to spin it. The wheel lands on a Devil’s Playground Match. Perez declares that she has shown the world how far she’s willing to go, and this match will be Kiana’s personal hell.

In the ring, Arianna Grace addresses Jakara’s injury and says that she will reluctantly accept her bye into the semifinals. Reece, on the other hand, expresses her eagerness to prove why she deserved to be in the tournament from the start. The women are determined to make their mark in the competition.

Arianna Grace vs. Brinley Reece in a Breakout Tournament First Round Match

In the ring, Arianna Grace asks Reece to kiss her hand, but Reece responds with a wrist lock. Reece then delivers an Irish whip and a powerful slam to Grace. However, Reece misses a splash attempt in the corner, hitting the turnbuckles instead.

Grace takes advantage of the situation with a takedown and a suplex, nearly securing a pinfall. She kicks Reece in the corner and continues to press the attack. Grace applies an armbar and a chinlock, trying to wear Reece down. She follows up with a knee to the midsection and goes for another suplex, but Reece blocks it.

Reece counters with a suplex of her own, followed by a second and third suplex. Reece whips Grace into the ropes and hits a walkover clothesline. She attempts to hoist Grace onto her shoulders, but Grace rakes her eyes. Grace retaliates with a hip lock slam and manages to secure the three-count victory.

Winner: Arianna Grace (Advances to face Kelani Jordan)

The semi-finals are set for next week.

Bron Breakker boasts that the previous NXT episode was the most talked-about because of him.

Robert Stone approaches and asks about Von Wagner’s condition. Bron responds dismissively, telling Stone to go back and assist his injured friend.

Stone opens up about his concerns for Von’s health and tells Bron that he wants to wipe the smile off his face.

Bron welcomes the challenge and agrees to face Stone at Halloween Havoc, warning him that he’ll do to Stone what he did to Von.

The next episode promises several exciting matches and events, including Lyra Valkyria facing Becky Lynch for the title, the semi-finals of the Breakout Tournament, Lexis King’s in-ring debut, Roxanne Perez vs. Kiana James in a Devil’s Playground match, Gigi Dolin vs. Blair Davenport in a Lights Out Match, and Chase University vs. Tony D’Angelo and Channing Lorenzo for the tag titles.

Dijak vs. Baron Corbin vs. Carmelo Hayes in a Number One Contender Match for the NXT Men’s Championship

In the match involving Baron Corbin, Dominik Dijakovic, and Carmelo Hayes, the action intensifies as the three competitors exchange blows. Corbin and Dijakovic initially corner Hayes but end up inadvertently striking each other.

Carmelo Hayes seizes the opportunity and punches both Corbin and Dijakovic. Dijakovic briefly grabs Hayes by the throat, but Hayes manages to escape. Hayes also avoids a double choke slam attempt by the other two competitors. Dijakovic counters with a chokebreaker, and both Dijakovic and Corbin try to cover Hayes. However, Hayes kicks out.

Dijakovic blocks a Codebreaker attempt from Hayes and delivers a back drop for another near fall. Dijakovic then sends Corbin shoulder-first into the ring steps. Hayes responds with a dropkick that knocks Dijakovic off the apron. Dijakovic returns the favor by sending Hayes into the ring post.

Back in the ring, Dijakovic maintains control, connecting with forearms and backing Hayes into the corner. Dijakovic continues the assault with more strikes, but Hayes fights back with forearms and chops. Dijakovic retaliates with a back elbow and goes for a near fall on Hayes. Dijakovic then goes to the outside and Corbin lands a knee strike, sending Dijakovic into the ring steps.

Corbin re-enters the ring and delivers forearms to Hayes before sending him into the turnbuckles. However, Corbin misses a shoulder strike and ends up hitting the ring post, shifting the momentum of the match.

Hayes failed to connect with a high-flying move, allowing Corbin to capitalize by hitting splashes on both Dijak and Hayes. Dijak responded with a super kick to Corbin, while Hayes delivered a super kick to Dijak. Dijak then executed a release suplex, tossing Hayes into Corbin, who was cornered.

Dijak attempted to lift Corbin onto his shoulders, but Corbin managed to escape and countered with a belly-to-back suplex. Corbin followed up with a clothesline from the turnbuckles, targeting Hayes for a close near fall. Corbin continued with forearms, but Dijak ultimately clotheslined Corbin over the top rope and out of the ring. Dijak then seized Hayes but was met with a Codebreaker counter from Hayes.

Hayes climbed to the top rope, only for Corbin to intervene and pull him down onto the apron. Corbin executed a brutal Death Valley Driver on the floor, while Dijak delivered a running boot to Corbin on the apron and a thrust kick to send Corbin to the floor. Hayes thwarted Dijak’s cyclone kick and followed up with a leg sweep. Hayes then directed Dijak into Corbin, setting up Dijak’s High Justice on Corbin for a near fall. Hayes also managed to secure a near fall on Dijak.

Hayes and Dijak engaged in a back-and-forth exchange of forearms, with Dijak landing a boot for another close near fall. Dijak sent Hayes into the corner and continued with forearms, but Hayes countered with his own strikes. Dijak kicked Hayes into the turnbuckles and positioned him on the top turnbuckle before delivering an uppercut. Hayes fought back with kicks, attempting a superplex, but Corbin intervened with a running boot to Hayes’ chest.

Corbin aimed for a German superplex, but Hayes fought back and executed a power bomb on Corbin, even as Corbin managed to hit the German superplex on Hayes simultaneously. Hayes punched Corbin, and Corbin sent Hayes onto the apron. Corbin landed a punch on Hayes during a springboard move, causing Hayes to fall to the floor. Corbin then went for a choke slam, but Dijak evaded it. Corbin managed to escape Feast Your Eyes, but Dijak fell victim to Corbin’s End of Days. However, Hayes swiftly capitalized with a move called “Nothing but Net” on Corbin, securing the three-count on Dijak.

The victor of the match was Carmelo Hayes.

In the backstage segment, Lyra Valkyria was seen watching and reminiscing about a photo featuring her alongside Becky Lynch. She declared that in one week, she would claim the title.

Jade Cargill made an appearance on the monitor, tapping her wrist.

The show then concluded with the credits.
