Trick Williams Rushed To Hospital During 10/17 WWE NXT

Trick Williams has a lot of momentum, as the NXT Arena pops every time he comes out to the ring. He was supposed to get a great opportunity this week, but then the unexpected happened.

Ringside News has full coverage of WWE NXT this week, including play-by-pay results. The night kicked off with big match that ended with title match getting booked. An exciting debut was also booked for next week’s show. Needless to say, it was a night full of unexpected surprises.

During the opening segment of the show this week, Carmelo Hayes, Djiak, and Baron Corbin cut promos about their planned triple threat #1 contender match. The winner of that match would face Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Title on NXT Halloween Havoc Night 2.

Trick William was then added to that match, thanks to one last order from Cody Rhodes as special NXT General Manager. That made the crowd pop in a big way, but the match never happened as a fatal four-way.

Then they featured a backstage segment with Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams as they hashed it out, and it seemed that everything was understood between the two that this match was all about business, and they were still “Trick Melo Gang.”

Before the main event match went down, it was announced that Trick Williams was taken to the hospital after a backstage attack. This was a bit of a surprise, and they did not reveal who his attacker was.

Natalya also showed up this week on NXT to stand in Tegan Nox’s corner as she faced Lyra Valkyria. That match did not end the way Nox wanted it to, as Chelsea Green and Piper Niven showed up to interfere. That was not all, because Akira Tozawa was also on NXT. This week was full of moments we didn’t see coming, as the NXT brand continued to produce newsworthy moments.
