WWE brought their season premiere of RAW to Oklahoma City this week, and they had quite a newsworthy show for fans. With Crown Jewel coming up in a couple of weeks, and Survivor Series going down a few short weeks later, the company has a lot going on. That being said, Michael Cole was absent, which surprised a lot of fans.

Sean Sapp noted on X that this time off for Michael Cole was actually scheduled in advance. It wasn’t noted how long Cole asked for this time off, but it wasn’t a last-minute change.
“Michael Cole had requested time off for a previous obligation a while back, WWE sources tell us.”
This is great news for fans who were worried about Michael Cole missing RAW this week. After all, he’s only missed a few shows in his 25 years with WWE. Hopefully, he will be back next week, and have just as much energy with a week off.
Kevin Patrick was able to fill in for Michael Cole this week. Wade Barrett was alongside him as color commentator to complete the two-man announce team this week on WWE RAW.
