Davey Boy Smith Jr made headlines recently for a terrible reason. He needed surgery, but now we have an update on the British Bulldog’s son’s condition.
We previously reported that Davey Boy Smith Jr had to have emergency surgery. This was a tough medical situation, but he was able to make it through.
The ex-WWE Superstar posted on his Instagram, sharing that he was hospitalized for what he initially believed to be appendicitis but later discovered he was also dealing with diverticulitis. Consequently, he had to undergo surgery to remove a portion of his colon.
F4WOnline had an update on Davey Boy Smith Jr. He is out of the hospital and recovering at home now. He was in the hospital for four days in total.
“Davey Boy Smith Jr. is out of the hospital after surgery to remove part of his colon due to getting appendicitis and diverticulitis at the same time. It was said to be painful as hell. He was in the hospital for four days and now he’s at home recovering.”
Davey Boy Smith Jr. was with WWE until the pandemic, but he was released without ever having a single match on television, and only one dark match. That sent him back to the indies, where he eventually wound up in MLW.
Hopefully, Davey Boy Smith Jr can get back to perfect health, so he can continue his career. He still has a lot of things he may want to accomplish, but he must get over this bump in the road first.
