Dakota Kai Reveals Striking New Appearance After WWE SmackDown

Dakota Kai has faced her share of ups and downs in recent times. After her release in May 2022, she made a surprising return during SummerSlam, joining Damage CTRL alongside Bayley and Iyo Sky. Although she experienced championship success following her return, things took a turn for the worse due to an injury. She is still a regular fixture on WWE television and has now unveiled a new look after Smackdown this week.

Dakota Kai has history of injuries, and this time, it’s an ACL injury that required surgery for repair. Unfortunately, it will still be a while before she can step back into the wrestling ring.

Kai made her television return at SummerSlam and since then, she has never failed to accompany her Damage CTRL teammates on Friday Night Smackdown. This week’s Smackdown was no different either.

The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion took to Twitter and debuted a new “all black” look after dying her hair as a way to support her favorite rugby team. She also appeared to have cut her hair as well.

Dakota Kai also previously revealed when she will likely make her return to the squared circle. We will have to wait and see how WWE will keep on using Dakota Kai till her in-ring return.
