AJ Styles was set to team with John Cena at Fastlane, but then he was taken out of action by Solo Sikoa. The Bloodline plays dirty, and it took the leader of the OC out of action for a bit, so LA Knight could step up and take the slot as Cena’s Fastlane partner. The question still remains regarding AJ Styles’ status.
Ringside News reached out to ask about AJ Styles’ current status. After all, a lot of fans were a bit worried, because he was written off television in brutal fashion. It turns out that AJ Styles is not injured. This is just a part of WWE.
We were told by a tenured member of the creative team that “AJ Styles will be back soon.” That being said, this will not be another six-month stretch without the Phenomenal One at all.
AJ Styles has a ton of star power, and he is still one of the best wrestlers in WWE. He can also still perform at a high level, so the book is not closed for him whatsoever. We’ll just have to see when he pops up again, and how WWE uses him.
AJ Styles has earned various championships including the WWE Championship, United States Championship, and Intercontinental Championship. That doesn’t even count his titles in TNA, NJPW, and elsewhere. He remains a prominent figure in WWE, and he will keep up that high performance level. His services were simply needed differently this time around, as the company put LA Knight over at WWE Fastlane.
It stands to reason that AJ Styles would want some revenge on who took him out of action. That may be a nice way to get him back into the mix after Fastlane. Keep checking back with Ringside News for more.
