AEW bought another episode of Rampage this week. They followed WWE SmackDown’s season premiere episode as well, as Tony Khan followed a string of meltdowns on social media since the ratings came out for Dynamite this week. How did the viewership turn out for Rampage?
According to a report by Alfred Konuwa, the October 13th episode of AEW Rampage brought in 372,000 viewers, with 176k of those in the 18 to 49 demographic. That was quite a number for Friday the 13th.
This week’s episode of Rampage saw The Hardys & Brother Zay face off against Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard, and Angelo Parker, with Garcia, Menard, and Parker. Skye Blue squared off against Emi Sakura, and Blue pulled off a clutch win on AEW television.
Jay Lethal also competed against Trent Beretta, with Jay Lethal securing the win. Lastly, Gates of Agony went up against Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta, with Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta coming out on top.
The October 6th episode of AEW Rampage brought in an overnight average of 343,000 viewers, with 153k of those in the 18 to 49 demographic. While the viewership average was slightly up, the 18-19 demographic was slightly down.
The September 29th episode of AEW Rampage attracted a viewership of 324K, with 158K viewers being in the highly important 18-49 demographic. The show suffered a decrease of 31% in terms of overall viewership compared to last year at the same time when they aired a movie.
