AEW is trying hard to boost viewership for Collision, and every television that Tony Khan’s company has for that matter. Now, they have another match in the pipeline.
AEW wants to recover in the ratings after facing WWE competition in the form of NXT No Mercy and Fastlane for the past two weeks, which negatively impacted Collision’s viewership. This week’s Collision was originally advertised to start at 7:00 PM EST, but they changed it back to 8:00 PM EST, because the Major League Baseball playoffs won’t cause that change.
All Elite Wrestling has confirmed two matches and a segment. Adam Copeland will make an appearance, while Mogul Embassy’s Brian Cage will face Komander, and Skye Blue will challenge Kris Statlander for the TBS Title, following her victory over Emi Sakura on Friday’s Rampage.
The updated AEW Collision card for October 14th features the following matches: TNT Champion Christian Cage vs. Bryan Danielson, ROH World TV Champion Samoa Joe vs. Willie Mack, TBS Champion Kris Statlander vs. Skye Blue, and Brian Cage vs. Komander. Additionally, AEW Tag Team Champions Ricky Starks and Big Bill will make an appearance at the show.
