WWE Planning To Pay Off Major Storyline Angle On 10/13 SmackDown

WWE has a lot of things going on, and there are some loose ends to tie up for a few angles. This week’s episode of SmackDown will see the blue brand’s season premiere, and they are going to put a lot in that two-hour show. This should also count as your official spoiler warning.

We previously reported that WWE is planning to get a new authority figure tonight on SmackDown. That being said, you can click here for that spoiler.

BWE also noted behind their private X account that “the trade happens tonight.” This is likely regarding the impending trade for Jey Uso that they referenced weeks ago and never brought up again.

Jey Uso actually quit WWE, SmackDown, and the Bloodline in one move. Then Cody Rhodes brought him back as a member of the RAW roster. It was stated at the time that a RAW Superstar will need to be traded to SmackDown to make up for the lost Superstar, even though Jey Uso was actually removed from the entire WWE active roster page prior to his return.

We will have to see what WWE has in store for fans this week on SmackDown. Jey Uso going to RAW may finally see someone make their way over from the red brand to make up for it.
