WWE has a lot of things in the pipeline for their SmackDown season premiere. Now, we know a big possible spoiler for the show, and it could go on to change the blue brand for quite a while.

We previously reported that WWE is planning to pay off the Jey Uso going to RAW storyline this week on SmackDown.

Jey Uso actually quit WWE, SmackDown, and the Bloodline in one move. Then Cody Rhodes brought him back as a member of the RAW roster. It was stated at the time that a RAW Superstar will need to be traded to SmackDown to make up for the lost Superstar, even though Jey Uso was actually removed from the entire WWE active roster page prior to his return.

According to PW Insider, Kevin Owens is actually slated to make his return to SmackDown this week. That being said, Kevin Owens is apparently the Superstar that WWE is trading over to SmackDown for Jey Uso.

We have heard that Kevin Owens was expected to be at tonight’s Smackdown taping and that he will soon be announced as having been “traded” to the Smackdown brand.

This could be a big surprise for the SmackDown season premiere. Kevin Owens did a lot on the RAW brand, but he may have a lot more to do on the blue brand at this point.

We will have to see how everything pans out when the show goes live this week. Ringside News will have full coverage of the entire night’s event, and this could be quite a season premiere.
