Tony Khan has drawn a lot of attention to his social media account in recent memory. Even though the owner of AEW may be going a bit out of control, that doesn’t reflect everyone who is in the company. That being said, there is a lot to unpack.

Tony Khan’s recent social media activity has seen him call WWE higher-ups “bald assholes.” TK took a shot at Shawn Michaels’ booking for NXT. He also had a lot to say about Vince McMahon’s controversies. He followed that up by shading The Undertaker and John Cena for not pulling 1 million viewers for the October 10th episode of NXT.

Sean Sapp reported within Fightful’s paywall that they received information from multiple individuals within AEW expressing surprise regarding Tony Khan’s tweet about Undertaker and John Cena not reaching a million viewers being made public.

It was noted that Tony Khan doesn’t seek approval from AEW PR for his tweets, as some fans have inquired about. Another source suggested that those who had concerns about the tweet should observe the responses directed at Tony Khan, Triple H, or other prominent wrestling executives on any typical day.

Of those that we spoke to, there wasn’t any real concern or issues with it, and most of the reaction reflected that of social media — either thinking he shouldn’t have tweeted it at all, or thinking it was him having fun with a situation that didn’t favor him.  Another pointed out that right after the tweet, he announced a series of matches for next week’s Dynamite while people were on his profile.

We will have to see what Tony Khan tweets out next, because his account is very active right now. His employees will be ready for the next surprising post, even if there is nothing they can do to stop it from happening.

AEW is going to keep going, and they may run in competition to WWE once again in the future. Only time will tell what Tony Khan will post when that day comes, but he had a lot to say about October 10th’s head-to-head showdown.
