This week’s episode of NXT got a ton of attention from the company. They brought more star power than some premium live events receive. After all, AEW moved their Dynamite to Tuesday this week, and that competition was thick in the air, but how did the viewership turn out?

Sports TV Ratings reports that the October 10th episode of WWE NXT brought an overnight viewership of 921,000, with a .30 in the 18 to 40 demographic. AEW Dynamite brought in 609,000 viewers for their Title Tuesday episode that ran on the same night.
This week’s episode of NXT included a ton of announcements and special appearances. John Cena and Paul Heyman were around for the main event match. Also, Solo Sikoa and LA Knight showed up as big surprises. The Undertaker shocked the WWE Universe when he showed up in the final moments of the show to take out Bron Breakker. Also, Asuka was able to keep her incredible undefeated streak in NXT going.
The October 3rd episode of WWE NXT brought in an overnight average of 857,000 viewers, and a .22 in the 18 to 40 demographic. This was the fallout after No Mercy.
The September 26th episode of WWE NXT brought in an overnight average of 636,000 viewers, with a .18 in the 18 to 49 demographic. That episode certainly put a few finishing touches to the No Mercy event. The September 19th episode of WWE NXT brought in an overnight viewership of 824,000. They also scored a .24 in the 18 to 49 demographic.
WWE has been able to achieve a big objective with NXT viewership. It is on the upswing, and bringing massive episodes like they did for October 10th will only go to help things more for them.
