WWE NXT was able to pull out a big win over AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday. They gave Tony Khan an “L” for his birthday on 10/10, but apparently, the WWE Performance Center was a bit wild backstage before the show.

According to a report from Bodyslam.net, the backstage atmosphere prior to the October 10th episode of WWE NXT was a bit chaotic. Things were moving around “frequently,” but they were able to figure things out.

With such a stacked edition of the show, comes a chaotic environment. In asking about how the show came together, multiple Bodyslam.net sources in NXT have stated that the backstage environment at the show was hectic, with segments on the show being moved around frequently.

The report also indicated that given the numerous elements in the show, including multiple surprises and high-profile guests, it’s understandable that the show needed some adjustments as the night progressed. An NXT source reportedly expressed their belief that the show was executed exceptionally well, emphasizing the crucial role played by the enthusiastic crowd in the show’s success.

WWE NXT was able to beat AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday’s 609,000 viewership by a considerable margin, as they drew 921,000 in the overnight viewership. In the end, it seems that they were able to figure out how to put on that blockbuster of a show, despite any backstage chaos.
