MJF considers himself a generational talent, and he clearly has many ways to back up his claims as his stock continues to rise every week. He is proud to be a Jew and that was the central focus for his segment on Dynamite this week.
As seen on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, The Bullet Club Gold came out and made fun of MJF after last week’s events. This included Juice Robinson bringing out a roll of quarters with “FRIEDMAN” written across and it stating that he would throw coins at his face, which infuriated MJF.
Many fans were outraged by this segment due to its anti-semitic nature, especially as the ongoing conflict in Israel continues to make headlines. MJF took to Twitter and announced that he will be present during an anti-hate event, whose main objective is to stand up against Jewish hate.
Tonight that piece of s***, Juice Robinson decided to bring up a story from my childhood that has left me scared. I’m glad he did. He brought awareness to something we’ve all gone through in one way, shape, or form in our lives. On behalf of anyone who’s ever been bullied for being different in any capacity. I look forward to leaving him scared too. I also look forward to this Thursday #StandUpToJewishHate
MJF is set to square off against Jay White at the Full Gear pay-per-view, where he will put his AEW World Championship on the line. We’ll have to wait and see how their feud will progress till then, but this week’s AEW Dynamite segment certainly left a bad taste in the mouths of many fans.
