John Cena didn’t travel to Saudi Arabia for WWE’s events since their deal started half a decade ago. He was able to hold out for a lot longer than some fans thought. Now, he will break that streak away from WWE shows in Saudi Arabia.
Ringside News was able to confirm with a tenured member of the WWE creative team that John Cena is booked to wrestle at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. He is not wrestling Roman Reigns, but he will be on the card.
Ringside News exclusively reported John Cena started talking to WWE about a return as soon as the SAG-AFTRA Strike started. They were able to work something out, and Cena was soon booked for two months’ worth of television appearances.
John Cena admitted that he will leave WWE once the SAG-AFTRA strike is over. The Writers Guild was able to figure things out, but the Screen Actors Guild is still working on their deal.
Hollywood always had something for John Cena, and this situation is no different. He is in the middle of a project, one he cannot name, but he must get back to work as soon as he can. That being said, it is very much expected that John Cena will fulfill every WWE obligation on his schedule, including Crown Jewel on November 4th.
