WWE is entering into a new era with TKO as their new parent company. They’ve seen several people depart in recent memory, and now we have one more to the list.

WWE initiated cuts and changes following the merger between WWE and the UFC, which occurred after Endeavor’s acquisition of WWE. Both companies have now become a single entity under TKO Holdings Group. Releases are common when mergers are concerned, and you may check out a comprehensive list of people that WWE has fired since the TKO merger.

These adjustments encompass talent releases, employee departures, and other alterations within WWE, all of which have unfolded in recent weeks.

According to PW Insider, Rich Hering, a WWE Hall of Famer Warrior Award recipient, quietly left the company in the past week. This was a bit of a surprise for many within the company.

Rich Hering served as the Senior Vice President of Government Relations and Risk Management for over 50 years, dating back to the days of the WWWF under Vince McMahon Sr.

It is also reported that Rich Hering opted to retire of his own accord, with no external influence from Endeavor or anyone else. Despite the desire of many within the company for him to stay, he made the decision to depart. Some fans may recall his on-screen appearance as the officiant during the Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth wedding at SummerSlam 1991.

We will have to see if Rich Hering goes elsewhere, but it appears that he was able to end things on his own terms in WWE. We’re wishing him the best in his future after WWE.
