Adam Copeland made his surprise debut for AEW at WrestleDream, and those fans are excited about what is next for the WWE Hall of Famer. Kevin Nash saw that go down, and he has his own hopes for the situation.
Tony Khan was thrilled to announce that Adam Copeland is now a full-time star for AEW. He will make appearances on Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision when needed, and his first match will go down on October 10th. Adam Copeland will take on Luchasaurus at Title Tuesday this week.
During the Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash spoke about Adam Copeland going to AEW. He hopes that Edge doesn’t get injured, but at the same time he is a great addition to the AEW locker room. Perhaps, he can impart some wisdom on the roster.
“I pray that Edge doesn’t get hurt. But he’s a great addition. One of the things, their style is so different than the WWE’s style. It’s kind of an indy-rific, but I believe that bringing in somebody like Edge – he has always worked a main event style. I think you put him with one of those younger guys, stop some of the bad habits that some of the other guys have.”
Only time will tell what Adam Copeland is able to do in AEW. He is a veteran, and that influence could do the roster a lot of good. That being said, hopefully, he is able to avoid injuries, because that is the last thing AEW needs.
AEW has seen a lot of stars go out of action with injuries. Adam Copeland will be a full-time talent, so that obviously raises the risks of that happening. At least we know that Kevin Nash is pulling for the former Edge, along with so many other fans.
