GUNTHER is still going strong as Intercontinental Champion in WWE, and it’s hard to imagine that anyone will be able to beat him at this point. That being said, there are a few big challengers waiting in the wings.
BWE posted behind their private X account to reveal a bit of a spoiler about WWE’s plan for RAW this week. The proven WWE insider posted: “Tsunami goes Intercontinental.”
As you know, Bronson Reed’s finisher is the Tsunami, which is a top rope splash. Reed is billed weight is over 300 pounds, so the move looks quite impactful. Only time will tell how it goes against GUNTHER.
The idea of Bronson Reed vs GUNTHER is a very interesting one. Those two big men could bring a lot to the table. The big question is how much longer the Ring General will keep his title after breaking the Honky Tonk Man’s unbelievable record.
GUNTHER has a lot of eyes on him, and WWE is going to continue booking him in strong fashion. We will have to see when WWE books him against Bronson Reed, but it appears that match is on the horizon.
