Carlito Links Up With John Cena After Saturday’s WWE Fastlane Event

Carlito was one of better known WWE Superstars during his time in the company, where he won championship gold a few times. He returned to WWE television during Fastlane this week to a stellar ovation. Carlito would then reunite with John Cena following the conclusion of the event.

Carlito was not seen on WWE television since the Backlash Premium Live Event back in May, which is why fans wondered whether they were ever going to see Caribbean Cool ever again.

WWE Fastlane 2023 took place at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis and had the fans at the edge of their seat throughout. This included Carlito making his surprise return as LWO’s mystery partner. Carlito also picked up the win for his team with a vicious Backstabber.

Following his match, WWE took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of Carlito and John Cena reuniting after many years. This was a huge deal for fans of the Ruthless Aggression era, who grew up watching them.

In case you didn’t know, Carlito made his debut against John Cena back in 2004, where he beat Cena for the US Title. Carlito also had John Cena stabbed in a nightclub as part of their storyline.

Carlito signed a deal with WWE over the Summer, but the company dropped the original plans for Carlito months ago. We will have to wait and see how Carlito will be booked, now that he is back for good.
