Grayson Waller is quite a welcoming committee for WWE. He has sent out posts to The Rock, John Cena, and others to make it clear where they stood with him after their comebacks. He also sent a snarky goodbye post to Adam Copeland after his AEW WrestleDream debut. Waller was paying attention during WWE Fastlane, and it appears that he also read that Carlito is now a SmackDown Superstar.

Carlito made his return at WWE Fastlane as Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar’s mystery partner. The former Intercontinental Champion looked to be in great shape, and he helped his team win the match.
Grayson Waller has been enjoying his time on SmackDown since his WWE main roster call-up, as he has hosted the Grayson Waller Effect on several weeks. During his first run in WWE, Carlito had his own talk show segment, but Grayson Waller made it clear that he will not be substituted.
Welcome to Smackdown @Litocolon279! Just remember Carlito’s Cabana is just a poor man’s Grayson Waller Effect
Carlito’s departure from WWE in 2010 was primarily attributed to his wellness policy violations and a refusal to enter a rehabilitation program. Carlito had reportedly failed multiple wellness policy tests and declined to comply with the company’s requirement to undergo rehabilitation. This led to his release from WWE, as they take these policies seriously to ensure the health and well-being of their performers. While Carlito was known for his talent and charisma, his unwillingness to address these issues in accordance with WWE’s policies ultimately led to his departure from the organization.
Carlito is now a member of the LWO, and he’s getting started with a fresh chance in WWE. Only time will tell how it turns out for him this time around. At 44-years-old, Carlito is still in fantastic shape, and he also has a much different mindset than he did so many years ago.
