WWE Fastlane is going to be quite a show, and they put the finishing touches on the event during SmackDown this week. Everything built toward the big event, and John Cena will be a part of the show as well. That being said, fans are in for quite an event.
The 2023 Fastlane event will go down at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on October 7th. That being said, Superstars are more than ready to see the action go down. The kickoff show starts at 7:00 PM EST on YouTube, with the main card starting at 8:00 PM EST on Peacock.
Seth Rollins will put the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Shinsuke Nakamura. Those two will throw down in a last man standing match, so things could get wild in that one, and we may see a new champion.
During WWE SmackDown this week, an injury angle unfolded, which left Santos Escobar and Rey Mysterio without a third partner for their upcoming match at Fastlane. They are scheduled to face Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits in a six-man tag team match. Rey Mysterio mentioned that he was making a phone call and proceeded to do so. It remains to be seen who he contacted and whether they will join the team. WWE could have a big surprise return planned for that match, and you can click here for that spoiler.
LA Knight and John Cena are set to team up with each other at Fastlane. They will take on Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa in a match that might have some ramifications. IYO Sky vs Asuka vs Charlotte Flair will also go down with the WWE Women’s Title on the line. Rhea Ripley is not defending her WWE Women’s World Title on the show.
Judgment Day will also have to defend their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles against Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes. That match should be worth keeping your eyes on as well.
Only time will tell if fans see Jade Cargill make her WWE debut. She is expected to be there, and the former TBS Champion was spotted in Indianapolis.
