AEW’s roster is full of wrestlers who have passion to perform in the ring. Sadly, a couple of them are out of action, but that time away from the ring is coming soon for Thunder Rosa.

Following a back injury that sidelined her for a year, former AEW Women’s Champion, Thunder Rosa, is anticipated to make her return soon. This is a long time coming, because word was that she was set for the AEW Collision roster when the show started.

Thunder Rosa had to relinquish her title due to the injury, and she hasn’t appeared since then. In June, several stars on hiatus, including Miro, Andrade El Idolo, and Rosa, were advertised to appear at Collision. However, she is the only one who has not yet returned to the promotion.

Dave Meltzer revealed during the F4W Daily Update that Thunder Rosa is expected to make her return soon. The note simply said, “We’re told Thunder Rosa is now expected back very shortly.”

Approximately two months ago, La Mera Mera had her first in-ring return in a non-televised match, which served as an assessment of her injury recovery by medical professionals.
