WWE Fastlane 2023 took place at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The event was filled with potential surprises, and the rumor mill was going at full-steam before the event. The show had a full audience, and they got to see a surprise or two first-hand. That included a surprising turn of events in the opening match.

Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes are an unlikely team, and now they are Undisputed Tag Team Champions. The team of Rhodes and Uce took on Judgment Day in the opening match of Fastlane, and fans were in for quite a contest.

After many near-falls, the finish of the match finally came when JD McDonagh accidentally hit Damian Priest’s knee with his own Money in the Bank briefcase. Then Cody Rhodes hit a Crossroads on the announce table.

This was followed by a double team Cody Cutter, another Crossroads on Finn Balor, and we have new Undisputed Tag Team Champions. After this match, they celebrated in a big way.
